Interesting, it's psychedlic goregrind, something I don't think has ever been done before in the world of grind. Imagine old school Carcass and Impetigo on a bizzare LSD trip after watching a sleazy exploitation flick off the Somethingweird catalog and purchasing a tie dye lava lamp. There's pitchshifting, but it's done tastefully for good measure, never abused like what most goregrind bands do these days. It adds to the diverse vocal attack going on. The trippy stoner rock solos are brilliantly mixed with the groovy grinding tunes, creating what a H.G. Lewis splatter flick would be if it were a song. This album is pretty much flawless. Every second is catchy headbanging stonergrind metal and the select movie samples being employed are awesome choices (Deadbeat at Dawn, I Drink your Blood, & Hills Have Eyes rules!). Only thing I could bitch about Sleaze Merchants is that I can't get enough of it like a hippie can't get enough bong hits.10/10
